Hairstyling Program

Your journey begins here

Our hairstyling program is a pre-employment trade course in all phases of beauty culture, professional ethics and salon management. Theoretical instruction is combined with practical work conducted in a modern and thoroughly equipped cosmetology school.

We prepare students to enter the styling field upon graduation.

We will train you in all the basic elements of the industry, as well as help you to explore your mind for creativity. Each student completes a minimum of 1600 hours of instruction under a licensed instructor to become eligible to take the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick Certified License Exam. Upon completion, with passing grades, Atlantic Hairstyling and Aesthetics Academy will award a diploma.

Hone your skills in a real environment

Your practical and theoretical work will begin with the aid of mannequin forms. As you progress through this phase you will advance to practising your newly acquired skills on actual clientele in a real salon and spa environment.

Throughout your time at Atlantic Hairstyling Academy there will be various regional and national competitions; they are not mandatory to complete your training. Competitions are your choice.

Courses begin annually in January and August. Applications are processed on a ” first in” basis, so be certain we receive your completed application form as soon as possible!
